If you are organized in everything that you do, you will live a less stressful life. Imagine how great it would be to find that belt to match your suit when you wake up late one morning. Naturally, since I’m a Life Coach, it was important for me to hear a bit about his plan. Mike is putting together an honest and thorough resume. He’s also re-learning about the appropriate follow up to job interviews, thank you cards, phone calls, etc.
DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF THAT GIVES YOU PLEASURE – Every day do something for yourself with the intention of lifting yourself up. Make a list of things that make you happy. Choose one of them for that day and do it. The next day you can choose the next thing and so on. I love to sing and play the piano. I love to read, write, talk to family members, Dance, hike, etc… I’m sure that once you sit down and write all the things you like to do that make you feel happy you will end up with quite a long list.
If you’re well, you’ll be happier and more productive, and you’ll enjoy every day of your life. Chances are your Happiness will influence other people, too, making them happier and more productive.
Remember, unsuccessful people are universally unwilling to do the work needed to take effective steps for change. Personal growth is about change. It’s about letting go of past ideas. It’s about finding new pathways, and fine-tuning for maximum results. Constant learning and upgrades. New skill sets.
They mill around at home, doing nothing, feeling bad about their lot in life and then they drag themselves to find another job they don’t like at all that pays even less than their previous one.
Someone asked me if I had ever used a coach. I understand that timing is essential when you’re looking for a coach. I didn’t have a coach for years simply because as a single parent and entrepreneur raising 4 kids, I knew that was money taken from the mouth of my babes. Not everyone is a candidate for coaching. My timing wasn’t right. You have to first get past “survival”.
